Water Treatment Plant Operator Class III - Etowah Water & Sewer Authority- Salary: Competitive - Starting Date: ASAP Full-time - Description: Operates the wtp on a daily basis. Minimum Qualifications: Six months as WTP Trainee; Valid Class C Driver's License and a satisfactory MVR. Water Treatment Plant and Wastewater Plant Superintendent

The City of Monticello is seeking qualified applicants for the position of superintendent of our drinking water treatment facility and our wastewater ponds. This position is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of the facilities as well as other duties.

Qualifications: Georgia class 2 drinking water treatment license, class 3 wastewater license, ability to lift fifty pounds overhead and ten years experience in drinking water treatment.

WATER/SEWER MAINTENANCE FOREMAN

This is skilled licensed supervisory work involving the assignment and inspection of work of a small group of crewmen or equipment operators. Work involves assigning and inspecting the work of skilled, semiskilled or unskilled workers in the performance of a wide variety of jobs. Work may also involve more than usual physical strength and endurance. Work is performed under general supervision with assignments received on a daily basis. Serves as the primary equipment operator of the crew.
