Woodard & Curran, a leading environmental and contract operations firm, is seeking an Operator in Forsyth County, GA. This full-time position is responsible for the operation and general maintenance of equipment at a water treatment facility in compliance with applicable local, state, and Federal environmental requirements, including performing daily rounds, assisting with equipment repairs, meter reading, and troubleshooting and correcting operational problems.

Additional responsibilities include the operation and maintenance of facilities equipment, grounds keeping, and process control.

Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays, as required for emergency call outs.

 

•Applicant must have and maintain a valid State of Georgia Class III Water Plant Operator Certification.
•Minimum one year of professional experience in the operation and maintenance of a water treatment facility
•High School graduate or equivalent, with technical/vocational school background
•Applicant must possess a valid Drivers License and a good driving record
•Applicant must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
•Must demonstrate solid mathematical skills and appropriate reasoning skills
•Applicant must demonstrate mechanical and technical aptitude, as well as strong competence with computer skills
