Description
The Board of Directors of the Dade County Water & Sewer Authority is seeking a qualified individual to serve as General Manager. Individual shall be directly responsible to the Board of Directors of the Authority. The Dade County Water & Sewer Authority provides service to approximately 7300 water customers.

Known for its natural beauty and scenic Cloudland Canyon State Park, Dade County (population 16,633) is located in the northwest corner of Georgia.

Requirement

• Experience in business administration, with a minimum of five years experience in the water industry, including experience in operations management, capital planning and contingency planning. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business administration desirable.
• Possession of or ability to obtain a Water Distribution and treatment license within a reasonable time (minimum level Class 3).
• Dade County residence or relocation to Dade County preferred.
• Ability to travel from home overnight for meetings and to work nights, weekends and overtime.

Compensation

Salary is negotiable based on experience and education. In addition to salary the position offers and excellent benefit package.
